Description

Important Notes:

  • Typical shooting “recipe” is f16-22 @ 1/30-1/60, with 2 fresnel lenses + no diffuser. Mix and match 1-3 fresnels + diffuser/no-diffuser for desired look. Indoors shooting. For outdoors it is recommended you meter for the additional light on the more sensitive film.
  • Distance to subject is 41.88″ or 3.49ft from the front glass, 4.385ft from film plane.
  • Included Vivitar 252 flash!
  • Power on/off button – Side eject button is only “live” when power is on.
  • Hold eject button down for 1-2 seconds and release to eject the film.
  • Diffuser holder ships loose for packaging reasons, and will require installation, or leave it off if using a more professional flash/strobe setup.
  • Be mindful that this is for 600 speed Polaroid film, so ambient/outdoor lighting may have an impact. Try SX-70 film to get closer to FP-100C conditions.
  • Resulting image is flipped since there is no mirror involved. When making framing adjustments keep in mind that the left side of the print is really the right hand side of the subject, and vice versa for the right side of the print.
  • Lens can be removed from the lens board. Lens board is secured by 4x M2 screws (hex key included).
